ABOUT
ME!
Charity Gibson completed her Master in Science degree in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University where she also obtained her Masters in Fine Arts in Film Production. She produced her Film Production master thesis film, which had been accepted into numerous film festivals and was selected for the College Television Awards. At Full Sail University she volunteered as a student intern for special events and received the Valedictorian award and course director’s award for directing talent.

Charity started her journey at Clover Park Technical College where she earned her two Associates Degrees in Graphic Technologies and Media Design and Production. Charity was the Vice President of Leadership in the Beta Omicron Gamma chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. She received Outstanding Leader, Distinguished Chapter Officer, the 2008 All Washington Academic Scholar and Outstanding Achievement awards while attending there. She then went to Central Washington University to acquire her BA in Film and Video Studies. She graduated with honors and received the Outstanding Academic and Dean’s Scholar Awards.

Charity’s films have won best cinematography, best editing, best screenplay, best film and best of the house in numerous film competitions. She was the first student at CWU to write, produce and direct a full feature film, “Decidium,” which premiered on a theatrical screen in Washington state.

Charity has also spent time filming for the Army National Guard during their summer training exercises, capturing critical instructional footage that played an important role in preparing soldiers for combat readiness and real-world conditions prior to deployment. In addition, she worked extensively with the power plant and oil refinery industries, creating critical safety and operational training content for high-risk environments where precision and preparedness can mean the difference between life and death. Through this work, her guiding motto became “save a limb, save a life,” reflecting her commitment to producing training materials that protect workers, prevent injuries, and reinforce a culture of safety across demanding industrial settings.

Charity values the aesthetic visual means of expression within the film industry as a perfect medium for inspiring, informing, educating and entertaining. She desires to create films that will touch hearts with the richness of humor and emotions, showing them a dimension of unimaginable possibilities.
